Mollie Hudson
b. 1983 Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

BS Art Education, Williams Baptist College, 2006.

Franklin, TN.

Mollie is a versatile fine artist covering a wide range of subject matters and mediums. Ever adapting and exploring new and different media from surreal graphite works on paper to fantastical and tonalist landscape works in oil and watercolor painting, she does not limit her portfolio to one style of work.

Mollie's most recent works in graphite are emotional pieces that explore both subject focal points and the negative space as equal partners in composition. Drawing the viewer deep into the composition by using the depth of the dark black graphite values, she allows for breathing space within the pieces.
